Hey, I’m Margit (rhymes with Target)!
I’m a Mystic, CT wedding photographer, secret baking enthusiast, and mother of the two cutest kids on the planet.
I am so happy you’re here. I know how stressful this season of wedding planning can feel, and I hope that by finding me, you can breathe a huge sigh of relief and release those shoulders you have scrunched up by your ears.
It’s going to be okay.
Everything is going to work out.
And you are going to have the most beautiful wedding.
How do I know? Well, because this isn’t my first rodeo. I’ve been photographing weddings since 2015 after I graduated from UConn with my BFA in Photography. Which means I’ve been photographing weddings for 10 years.
Do you know what I’ve learned in 10 years of business? Every wedding is different, yet every wedding is perfect. Your vendors are here to make sure your day runs smoothly, making sure that you can be present with the people you love.
Speaking of people you love…
I met my husband when we were both 8 years old. Now, we have two children, one dog, and three cats. Can you blame me for being a hopeless romantic?
I believe in slow living. As a homebody who loves to bake and get my hands dirty in the garden (ask me about my dahlias!), I have learned to bask in the in-between moments. The moments when the dough is rising and the seeds are sprouting. There is so much beauty in the every day, and I want to soak in every ounce of it.
I still get excited about every wedding I shoot.
No matter how many weddings I photograph, I still get giddy when I pack my camera bag for your big day. I am forever grateful that I get to play a small part in so many love stories.
